somehow we are a cohesive country. Canadians
don’t realize how cohesive we are. You see, we
define ourselves as being inverse Americans, but
we are not—we are Canadians. And we have a
sense of who we are. We have a sense of decency.
We’re not commercial people, the buck isn’t the
most important thing in our culture. These are the
kinds of things that that Marshall valued as well.
And the reason he developed his theories here, was
because without communication, what would tie
this country together? And we’re the country that
speaks two languages.
